Brief History:	Rupert Jasen Smith, aside from being Andy Warhol’s printer and an important collaborator with Warhol in his later years, was an artist in his own right. He designed and printed uniquely colored silkscreen prints for the introduction to the portfolio of prints and writings by Keith Haring and William Burroughs entitled "Apocalypse," published in 1988. Smith’s best known and most collectible screenprints are from his “Greta Garbo” Suite of six images. Although Smith’s artwork never achieved the notoriety of Warhol and Haring, many Art Experts consider his work equal to Warhol and the best buy in the Pop Art market today.
